The Process
We were contacted at the start of the studio construction, one year before it was due to open. With plenty of time available the plan was to drip feed information about the studio throughout the course of the year of construction, ensuring by the time the ribbon was cut at the lavish opening party everyone in the industry new exactly who Sphere Studios were.
We cherry picked a particular audio publication and gave them exclusive access to cover the build of the studio in 12 monthly installments, following every aspect of the challenges, highs and lows and ultimate success of the process. To my knowledge, no other recording studio launch had ever been covered like this before.
In addition news was published periodically in other relevant publications ensuring awareness was created across the whole target market sector. The campaign was very successful and we were retained as the company’s PR representatives for many years after the launch. The studio remains one of London’s most respected facilities.
