In TV Film Post ProductionThe Project
Project Name: Company brand re-launch
Client: Soho Square Studios
Time frame: 3 months
Project Aim : To establish awareness of the company’s new brand image and position them as a leading audio post facility.
The Process
Soho-based The Voice And Music Company were already an established audio post production facility but, keen to emphasis their position as a leader in their field, they wanted to re-launch with a new name that better reflected their current range of services and would also appeal to a global audience. To this end they created a new brand identity, Soho Square Studios, which needed to be communicated effectively to their target audience. An important consideration was ensuring that the move was seen as a positive one. The chosen communications solution was a mixture of traditional PR and some direct marketing.
With the help of a freelance journalist, editorial content and press announcements were prepared that covered the back story to the re-brand, profiles of key personnel and the company story detailing it’s rich heritage and future aims. I then contacted relevant editors and journalists and arranged coverage of the re-brand in all key publications. This consisted of in-depth news stories, interviews with Soho Square’s co-owner Kim Goody and also company profiles. I also advised on and implemented a direct marketing campaign via e-newsletters to communicate directly with the company’s current and prospective customers.

Month 1 – establish a communications plan and prepare all background content.
Month 2 – implement the plan, set-up interviews and secure editorial opportunities with relevant media
